FILIUS - elegant and stable restaurant Parasol
FILIUS is the ideal partner for high-quality patio shading in the catering and other commercial sectors. FILIUS is perfect for outdoor catering, in pedestrian zones as well as for private and decorative applications. Thanks to its elegant appearance, it can be perfectly combined with existing furniture. Its light weight and the choice of cable or crank drive make it extremely functional.
On request, the sunshade is also available with optional seawater-resistant stainless steel connections. To ensure that the FILIUS can also be set up directly on coasts with salty seawater, materials must be used that do not rust. With this package, the swivel and standard parts are supplied in stainless steel V4A (1.4401, AISI 316). Optimum protection for minimal oxidation in the aluminum sunshade frame.
Operation
The Gastro parasol can be operated in three different ways:
- wire pull
- or hand crank (optional)
The frame is made of very high-quality, alloyed, extruded aluminum profiles.

The frame surface is powder-coated, extremely shock and impact resistant and available in the following Colors:
Standard colors:
- RAL 9010 pure white
- RAL 9006 white aluminum
Special colors without surcharge:
- RAL 8019 gray-brown
- RAL 7016 anthracite gray fine structure
Other special colors are available at an extra charge.
The spokes are reinforced with an internal steel core in areas subject to particularly heavy wear.
We attach particular importance to careful workmanship, which is why all movement axles are fitted with detachable bolts. This elaborate manufacturing method ensures maximum stability and durability as well as easy handling in the event of repairs.

Choose from over 70 current textile designs, which are available in three different fabric types:
- MayTex-Poly, 230 g/m², water column > 700 mm
- MayTex-Acrylic, 300 g/m², water column 370 mm
- MayTex-PVC, 480 g/m², water column > 1,000 mm

- Textiles with fire certification (B1) on request
