Monaco & Monaco V2 Cantilever Umbrellas – 300x300, Ø300 & Ø350 cm

The Monaco and Monaco V2 cantilever umbrellas are available as a square 300x300 cm (3x3 m) model as well as in round versions with Ø 300 cm (3 m) and Ø 350 cm. Both models rotate 360° and can be tilted at the mast. The Monaco V2 also offers an additional sideways tilt function at the support arm, allowing the shade to be adjusted even more precisely as the sun moves.

Monaco and Monaco V2 are especially suitable for terraces and private garden areas. Both models are available in beige or grey and are supplied with a protective cover and a base frame. The Monaco is the more affordable option, while the Monaco V2 offers greater flexibility thanks to its additional tilt function, particularly when the sun is low or coming from the side.

Monaco and Monaco V2 Compared

Both models are available as a square 300x300 cm (3x3 m) cantilever umbrella as well as in the round sizes Ø 300 cm and Ø 350 cm. They can be rotated 360° using the foot pedal and are easy to operate with the crank and slider mechanism.

Key Benefits at a Glance

  • 360° rotation via foot pedal
  • Monaco: tilt adjustable in 7 positions at the mast
  • Monaco V2: additional sideways tilt at the support arm
  • Easy operation via crank and slider
  • Aluminium frame, powder-coated in graphite grey
  • Polyester canopy with lightfastness rating 4–5 and integrated wind vent
  • Supplied with protective cover and base frame (weight slabs not included)
  • Colours: Grey (518) and Beige (517)

Which Model Is the Better Choice?

Monaco: The proven standard version is a good choice when conventional tilt adjustment at the mast is sufficient. The umbrella can be adjusted in seven positions and offers excellent value for money.

Monaco V2: In addition to the tilt function at the mast, the canopy can also be tilted sideways around the support arm. This allows the shade to be adjusted more flexibly when the sun is low or coming from the side.

300x300 cm, Ø 300 cm or Ø 350 cm?

The square 300x300 cm (3x3 m) version provides a canopy area of 9.0 m². Its square shape makes full use of the corners, giving it a particularly generous appearance and making it well suited to dining tables, lounge areas and square or rectangular terraces.

The round Ø 300 cm (3 m) version has a canopy area of around 7.1 m² and is the more compact option. The Ø 350 cm version provides around 9.6 m² of canopy area. This means that the Ø 350 cm model is mathematically slightly larger than the 300x300 cm version, although its round shape often makes it appear less expansive.

The actual shaded area depends on the position of the sun, the orientation of the umbrella and the selected tilt angle.

Materials and Scope of Delivery

The frame is made of graphite-grey powder-coated aluminium. The polyester canopy has a lightfastness rating of 4–5 and features an integrated wind vent. A protective cover and base frame are included; the weight slabs are not included.

The Monaco V2 is based on the classic Monaco and offers one additional tilt function:

  • Monaco: the canopy can be tilted at the mast in several positions.
  • Monaco V2: additionally features a sideways tilt function at the support arm.

This gives the Monaco V2 greater flexibility when the sun is low or coming from the side.

The best size depends mainly on the available space and the area you want to shade:

  • 300x300 cm (3x3 m): square canopy with 9.0 m² of canopy area. The square shape feels particularly spacious and works well over dining tables, lounge areas and square or rectangular terraces.
  • Ø 300 cm (3 m): round canopy with around 7.1 m² of canopy area. The more compact option for smaller terraces and garden areas.
  • Ø 350 cm: round canopy with around 9.6 m² of canopy area. Mathematically the largest of the three versions.

The actual shaded area also depends on the position of the sun, the orientation of the umbrella and the selected tilt angle.
