The Bangkok wooden parasol combines classic rope pulley operation with a bolted construction. This allows individual components to be replaced if required. Depending on the version, the Bangkok parasol differs in frame material and canopy fabric.
Three versions are available:
- Bangkok Basic – hardwood frame with polyester canopy
- Bangkok Premium – hardwood frame with premium polyacrylic canopy
- Bangkok TE Premium – stainless steel mast with teakwood ribs and premium polyacrylic canopy

All variants of the Bangkok series are based on the same proven frame with screwed construction and a rope pulley system. The differences lie in the canopy material, material configuration and intended use.

Bangkok BASIC: Hardwood frame with polyester canopy for functional use in private gardens or outdoor areas with moderate usage.
→ Color fastness 4–5, UPF 40+, easy to maintain and ready to ship. -
Bangkok PREMIUM: Version with solution-dyed polyacrylic fabric (AcrylSoft) for enhanced color stability and UV resistance under intensive use.
→ Color fastness 7–8, UPF 50+, water- and dirt-repellent, large color selection, replaceable canopy. -
Bangkok TE: Technically enhanced version with teak wood ribs and a stainless steel mast, designed for demanding and high-traffic outdoor environments.
→ Same premium AcrylSoft canopy as the PREMIUM version, combined with increased stability and a particularly low-maintenance stainless steel mast.
🔄 Is the canopy of the Bangkok parasol replaceable?
Yes – for all models. Whether BASIC, PREMIUM or TE, the canopy of every Bangkok parasol can be replaced without difficulty.
The replacement process is straightforward and can also be carried out at a later stage.
Matching replacement canopies as well as other original spare parts are available through our service department or authorized retailers. This ensures long-term usability and a well-maintained appearance over many years.
🛡️ Is a protective cover included?
Yes. All models in the Bangkok series are supplied with a matching protective cover as standard.
- Bangkok BASIC: Includes a universal protective cover (grey, with extension rod)
- Bangkok PREMIUM: Includes a premium protective cover made from Airtex fabric, color selectable depending on size
- Bangkok TE: Also supplied with a premium protective cover made from Airtex fabric
The protective cover helps shield the canopy from weather exposure and UV radiation, supporting a longer lifespan and maintaining a well-kept appearance over time.
