Scolaro Palladio Telescopic – Iroko Wooden Parasol with Telescopic Mechanism

The Scolaro Palladio Telescopic combines the traditional appearance of a wooden centre-pole parasol with a telescopic opening system. The frame is made from selected Iroko wood and treated with a protective finish for outdoor use.

With large formats up to Ø 5 m, the Palladio Telescopic is designed for spacious terraces and professional outdoor areas where a large shaded area and practical operation are important.

Key Features at a Glance

Telescopic opening mechanism
Frame made from selected Iroko wood
Protective wood finish for outdoor use
350 g/m² acrylic canopy
Available with or without valance depending on the selected colour
Three large sizes up to Ø 5 m

Three Sizes for Large Terrace Areas

The Palladio Telescopic is available in three formats: Ø 5 m, 4 x 4 m and 3 x 4 m. The range therefore covers round, square and rectangular layouts for different terrace and seating arrangements.

The Ø 5 m version offers the largest span in the range. The 4 x 4 m model is suitable for square areas, while the 3 x 4 m version is well suited to rectangular seating layouts and longer tables.

Telescopic Opening System

The defining feature of the Palladio Telescopic is its telescopic opening mechanism. This construction distinguishes it from the Palladio Standard and is particularly useful in professionally used outdoor areas where the parasol is opened and closed regularly.

Selected Iroko Wood with Protective Finish

The frame is made from selected Iroko wood. Scolaro treats the wood with a protective finish intended for outdoor use, combining the natural appearance of timber with a construction designed for larger parasol sizes.

All three Palladio Telescopic versions use a 58 mm mast diameter. Depending on the format, the canopy is supported by eight or ten ribs.

350 g/m² Acrylic Canopy

The Palladio Telescopic is supplied with a 350 g/m² acrylic canopy. The current Scolaro fabric range offers several colours for outdoor use.

Depending on the selected colour, the canopy is available with or without a valance. This makes it possible to coordinate both the colour and the visual style of the parasol with the surrounding terrace design.

For Hospitality and Large Outdoor Areas

With its large dimensions, centre-pole construction and telescopic mechanism, the Palladio Telescopic is particularly suitable for restaurant terraces, hotels and other professionally used outdoor areas. It is also an option for large private terraces where a substantial shaded area and a classic wooden appearance are required.

Selecting the Appropriate Base or Ground Fixing

Different parasol bases, ballast solutions and ground fixings are available for the Palladio Telescopic. The appropriate solution depends on the selected parasol size, installation location and operating conditions.

Scolaro's specified ballast and fixing recommendations for the respective version should therefore be taken into account when planning the installation. The base is not included in the basic parasol price.

Care of the Iroko Wood

The wooden components should be maintained regularly for long-term outdoor use. Scolaro recommends applying a wax-based wood treatment at least once a year before the winter season.

The parasol should be closed in unsuitable weather conditions such as strong winds or driving rain.

Made in Italy

Scolaro develops and manufactures its parasols at its own production site in Italy. The Palladio Telescopic therefore combines an Iroko wood construction, large-format dimensions and telescopic operation with Italian production.
